Mom said she thought this was an old post and that's why she didn't read it, but it's new, well it was new on Tuesday anyway.
Okay, last time Aunt Imagean was over and we talked about Montauk, we thought it would be a good idea to have the sloppy joes (or bbq beef) on Wednesday, since that was the day the most people were arriving and it would be neat and easy. And that way we could eat fish later in the week. But...Sharon has just found out that she might have to go to a seminar in chicago for work and may not get to Montauk until Thursday. So she is wondering when the bbq will be used, she said she could send it with Debbie if she will be there in time, but I was wondering what someone else thinks since the planning isn't really my thing. So I guess the main question is just what day should we have the bbq sandwiches?

*I'm sure the news has gotten around to everyone, but in case it hasn't, the reunion will be on Thursday, July 14 at 2pm, at the pavilion closest to the mill, all are invited.

Blue Berries
Mom was dissapointed this year because she wasn't going to be able to get blackberries, so...today we went and picked blueberries. We have 3 times this many:
In total we have 2 gallon bags full and 4 quart bags full. 2 of the quarts have already found good homes and the 2 gallon bags are coming with us to Montauk, we're hoping for cobbler, and maybe blueberry syrup.
I got an e-mail from Sharon the other day. She has to wait until she has a better idea of her family's schedules before she can say when she will arrive in Montauk. Does anyone want to make a guess as to how much beef she should bring per person, so she knows how much to bring with her?
Aunt Imagean came over this weekend to talk about Montauk plans.
*First we were wondering if anyone was willing to bring a crockpot.
*We were also wondering if Doug will be able to come?
*Also, it would be a good idea to have some chips for the hotdog roast, canoeing and snacking.

I just heard today from Aunt Imagean that none of the Hodges boys will be at Montauk, so that changes the roll call. I'm counting 35 people total now.
