Today, after we saw Aunt Evelyn off, we visited with Uncle John, and decided that Friday, July 21 would be a good day to spend at the homeplace. We're thinking that lunch should be at 11:00 for all the extended family to come and visit since they like to come during the day. Then later that evening we'll do the hotdog roast, like last year.

Debbie do you know what day you want to do your dinner?

And I think I forgot to post this, but Tommy and Tie will be there.

-This year Debbie would like to take on the awesome task of making a meal for ALL of us at the campsite. If you ask me she is very brave but it should be a lot of fun.
-I'll start making a list of arrivals and departures by day so that we can have a daily head count.
-Also, I carried over a lot of stuff from last year, including e-mail addresses. So...if you've changed your e-mail address you might want to check the links with your name on it to make sure I have them right. And just because you got an e-mail doesn't mean they are right because the e-mail was sent from mom's computer and I have no idea where I got my list of addresses from.
-As I hear from you about what you are bringing I will update the new list. That way if you want to mix things up and bring something different you are free to. The list is just a guide.
-And lastly, I know we've all enjoyed Johnson's Shut-ins in the past and I hope that they are able to return it, as much as possible, to the way we remember it. Here are some pictures someone else took of the way it looks now. I think some of the later ones are from before the flood but some of them are clearly from after.
-And to whoever is using firefox, sorry the page looks a little wonky. I don't know how to make it look ok in both firefox and IE right now, but I'll think on it.

Head Count

Here we go! I know this year we will be arriving in different groups than we did last year, so as I find out when you're coming and who's coming with you I will change things around. Over to the right is a list of the things we all signed up for last year. Use it as a guide and let me know what you want to bring. I'll update as I hear. And...this year we'll be even bigger than last year. So here's the list I have so far. Let me know if I need to make changes. Sorry if I skip over you. And does anyone know if Tommy and Tie will be coming?
