Arrivals and Departures by Day

This list is still missing people and I had to guess on some of the dates, so if you see that I've made a mistake let me know so I can fix it. This should make meal planning and such easier. I also haven't heard from Sharon yet when she will be arriving, I'll add her in when I hear. I wasn't sure when Rick and Debbies kids will be there, so I haven't added them, I will when I hear for sure. The green signifies that people are arriving that day, and the red signifies that they are leaving that day.

More

I seem to be posting a lot in the last couple days so if you haven't checked in recently you might want to read down a little so you don't miss anything.

Sharon is thinking she will bring a roast to make bbq sandwiches this year. When we figure out what day we will be having them, she will need some help figuring out how much to bring, since I have no idea. She's also thinking about bringing some snacks and water. She is also going to bring some craft supplies. She is wondering if anyone is planning on bringing condiments?

Also: Rachel has a serious allergy to cheese, so when picking out recipes for the recipe shower we should steer away from recipes including cheese.

When I talked to Mike yesterday he thought they would be arriving in Montauk on Sunday, so I'm going put it down that they will be arriving on Sunday, and I will change it if I hear different.

Another Roll Call

First, the hotdog roast at the home place will be on Saturday, July 16.

And...yesterday when I talked to Aunt Imagean she told me that both Rachels will be coming this year also. I forgot about that until this morning, so with them that ups the count to 38 people. Of course everyone is coming in and leaving at different times so we probably won't all be there at the same time.

Memorial Day and Stuff...

We had our memorial day celebration today. You can see the pictures here. Because of the way Flickr is set up, several people have already seen and commented on the pictures. If you get a flickr account you can comment on the pictures for yourself, and I highly recommend a flickr account to anyone with a digital camera. Anyway, we had a lot of fun today and ate a lot of food.

So...I haven't heard back from a lot of people about what they are planning on bringing. So far, these are the only definites I have:
Field=12 cans biscuits
10 cans canned milk
6 lbs. bacon
5 lbs. turkey sausage

Doris=15 lbs. pork sausage.

FL Hodges=Paper Goods

Sabrina=Hot dogs and buns.

You can see the suggestions I posted earlier here.

I also haven't heard when some people are planning on being there. So when you get all your dates settled let me know.

You can see the role call here. (note to Aunt Imagean: I said I thought there would be 34 people, but my last count was actually 36.)

More from Tom Jr.'s Birthday

I put together a movie from Tom Jr's Birthday. There are a lot of pictures that you have probably already seen, but about a minute and a half in there is something new. I'm sorry if you can't view it on your connection.

Okay, I'm having some technical difficulty. So to see the movie, go here, and then click on the link that says, "Tom Jr.'s Birthday.wmv"

That should work. I hope.

Or you can click here and then hit refresh when you get an error message.

Tom Jr.'s Birthday

Tomorrow is Tom Jr.'s Birthday, but today was his surprise birthday party. See the pictures here.

Ed. Note: To view the pictures click on the word "here"
That will open a page with thumbnails of all the pictures in the set. You can click on them to see a bigger image, and you can scroll through all the pictures by clicking the next picture in the lineup (you will see a preview of the next picture in the line-up as well as the previous picture in the line-up, they will be on the right side of the page.)

Movies

After a lot of internet searching and some fast shipping from the people at the UF bookstore I now have a means and a place to store some of those video clips. I only have 3 so far. But here they are for those of you who are able to view them. Some are pretty big so they might take a while to load depending on your internet speed. They don't usually take more than 30 seconds for us, but we have a cable connection. You will need Windows Media Player to view them, the link is in one of the posts below.

Samantha is in the Newspaper

Mom scanned the paper earlier to send to Robin so I figured I'd go ahead and upload it. You can see it here.

testing

It has recently come to my attention that you don't have to have a computer degree to be able to do this.

There are a couple requirements before you can click on the link.
1) You have to have Window's media player. Nearly everyone should have it already (it usually comes standard). You will know when you click the link and the program pops up. If you don't have it you can get it from Microsoft for free and I'm not sure how you have survived this far without it, but then again it is the program I use to watch all my lectures with.
2) You should have speakers.
3) It is better if you have a high-speed connection. If you don't it might take a while. But it should still work eventually. Maybe.

If you try it and it works for you could you let me know? I put it all together on my computer and then tested it on mom's computer so I'm pretty sure it should work for everyone, but not positive.

Also I added last year's digital pictures to flickr. You can see ALL of the pictures here.

Okay, there is a change in the food line-up. Sabrina is now bringing hotdogs and buns for a night at the homeplace instead of what was said earlier.

Robin, will you be making your famous macaroni and cheese?

Sharon, how should we do the recipe shower? Are either of them allergic to anything? Should we stay away from certain food groups?
